Open Data

Preface

The Open Data initiative of the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy is reflected in the Plan of Measures to Promote Reuse, the scope of which extends to all the units that comprise it.

For their part, Autonomous Bodies and Common Social Security Entities or Services dependent on or linked to it are empowered to develop their own reuse plans, as well as to generate and operate their respective web spaces.

The reuse of public sector information (RISP) consists of the use by natural or legal persons of information generated by public sector bodies with the aim of generating benefits for citizens, companies and administrations.

The development of the RISP Plan promotes access to data sets that may be of interest to individuals as well as companies and institutions. The goal is to enable users to access this information in a simple, efficient way and in a reusable format.

The regulatory framework governing the RISP Plan of the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy in Spain contains the actions provided for in Law Law 37/2007, of 16 November, on the Reuse of Public Sector Information and by Royal Decree 1495/2011.
