  • What must be the configuration of my browser to be able to use my certificate in the electronic office of the Ministry?

    In order to use your digital certificate, your browser must be able to run JavaScript in addition to client components (ActiveX or Applet).

  • Can I have more than one certificate?

    There is no problem with having more than one certificate on your computer; at the appropriate time you will be asked which of the certificates you want to use.

  • Can I protect my certificate in the browser?

    Yes, you can protect your certificate in two ways. The first is to store the certificate on a cryptographic card (the electronic DNI certificate will be stored on one). The other option is to store the certificate in the password-protected browser by specifying it during installation.

  • Can I use my certificate installed on another computer?

    Yes, if you have the certificate stored on a cryptographic card, simply insert the card into the other computer. If the certificate is stored in the browser, you need to export the certificate to a file and then import the certificate into the browser of the new computer.
